Zack’s near the Pier. Enjoy a special spaghetti lunch put on by Mick Ali and Friends to benefit the 9/11 Memorial. Lunch tickets will be available that day at the Pier and at Zack’s for a donation of $5.
Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Newland House from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m
Huntington Beach Firefighters are doing the cooking, so expect some great barbeque! Lots of entertainment for the family including a Bounce House, Magician, and Face Painting. Live music and dancing, great raffle prizes and fun silent auction items! Cost will be $15 for adults, $10 for children 6-12, with children under 6 free. Tickets will be on sale beginning in June.
The Family Barbeque kicks off 9/11 Restaurant Week (September 9-14, 2013) in Huntington Beach where local restaurants are donating a percentage to the 9/11 Memorial and Plaza during that week. A list of all the restaurants participating and the specific days during 9/11 Week that they have set aside for their special donations will be posted soon.
